Hatred Trial v1.1
Step 1- The Voracious
Ferans
- important to
set up raid before starting, nothing aggroes
- Each of the
ferans spits out baby ferans on a timed release (30 seconds or so).
- The baby feran
will agro whoever is on the mother ferans' agro list when it is released.
If the baby feran is not attacking a knight or warrior, the mother
will nuke its target for 4000 damage.
- There is a very
simple solution to this. Have a knight stand back at each Voracious
Feran and cast an agro spell on it.
- The mother ferans
are PERMA-ROOTED. This means you dont actually have to tank it, making
this trial very easy. Most of the event your entire raid will be killing
baby ferans.
- For each baby
feran that is killed, 1 mother feran's life will drop by 2%... this
will continue to happen until about 30%, at which point you will have
to DPS it down (and actually tank it). (Small variation: if the mother
is slowed and his cleric is good on mana, he can go up the platform
and hit the mother down).
- The key to this
portion of the event it is keep the babies on tanks, and to find them
and destroy them as quickly as possible.
- When you get
a mother feran to 30%-ish, you can no longer reduce its life by killing
the babies, so you must melee it down.
- When you do
kill it, the other Voracious Ferans will begin to spit out babies
faster.
- A good way to
keep this under control is to use Rogues and Wizards on the Voracious
ferans to finish them off once they reach 30%, and have everyone else
continue killing babies.

Step 2- The Master
of Hate
- Master of Hate
becomes active when all of the mother ferans have been destroyed.
- When you are
on your final mother feran, have the ENTIRE RAID get behind it and
sit up on the wall before you kill it, that way you can prepare for
the Master of Hate, and not get agro immediatley after the last feran
dies.
- This mob is
pretty much a joke, its a straight-forward pure melee mob. However,
there is one catch.
- The longer he
remains on the same target, the harder he will hit.
- The easy way
to handle this is to have all tanks (warriors and knights alike) fighting
over agro... once 1 of them gets agro, have him stop fighting for
it, and once he loses agro, have him fight to get it back.
Enchanters:
- Feeble direpups have been
mezzable since day 1.
- Also, Pliants are charmable.
